A fresh approach to Upselling
Every day is a school day...
My youngest son, who knows of my love of Daffodils, gave me a present today. "These are more sustainable, Mom!" Now, whilst this may not be true, he's very young and you have to love his thought process.
We all have knowledge gaps that need plugging and it's important that we never stop learning or 'keeping the saw sharp' as we say at Curve HQ.
Continuous learning has numerous benefits. In sales, it helps us:
The daffodils will now be displayed prominently in my office as a reminder that there is always room for growth and improvement. Every day is a chance to learn something new.

Choosing Curve to run sales training for your team means that not only will they get fresh, up to date, engaging, and bespoke content; they will also receive crucial post training support.
This follow on activity is an important part of a delegates overall learning experience. It increases the retention of knowledge that they gain within the training session and ensures that behaviours change.
Learners get post-training support at the end of the phone to help them implement the plans that they commit to during training.
Here at Curve, we believe that it is important to capture learning outputs in a post training plan meaning that not only can line managers support their learners commitment to change for the long term, but they can also measure success and personal growth.
In a sector where todays actions drive future results, we think this approach forms a key part of a cohorts learning journey and converts knowledge into actions. As Walt Disney famously said “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing". Our process ensures just that.

How can we help you?
We all know how important communication is. In business, I have heard it described as the golden thread that pulls everything together.
But just how straightforward is it to effectively communicate with a team who take turns between working from home, the office or on the road?
Here are a few of our top tips.
1 - Embrace technology - Teams, Zoom, Outlook, Microsoft Bookings, Asana etc. These tools are all here to help us and the good news is that most of them are free or have a free version.
2 - Set business review dates, 1:1's and any other important meetings well in advance and keep to them. This allows everyone to plan their diaries and focus on the things that really matter.
3 - Be consistent and use an agenda. This will help your team to prepare and ensures that important information and knowledge is shared in the right way reassuring the team and preventing frustrations and mistakes.
4 - Depending on the size of your team - conduct daily or weekly check in calls to see how the team are doing and how you can help them to be successful.
5 - Two way communication helps you become an inclusive leader. Give and seek feedback from your team and peers - it's a gift.
What techniques work for you? Let us know.
Look forward to hearing from you.
